The museum has always been and remains one of the centers of cultural and public life. Museum events – thematic meetings with interesting personalities, lectures and “Day Off” excursions, museum master classes – will allow you to gain unique knowledge about the decorative art of Ukraine, as well as find friends and like-minded people.

The museum offers cultural and educational programs, workshops and excursions for all categories of visitors. We adapt our educational services to the age and other special needs of visitors, help to spend leisure time pleasantly and usefully, or become reliable assistants in the important task of professional training of young people.

Separate educational programs are offered for children with special needs.
Municipal museums of Kyiv can be visited for free (except for guided tours):

• persons with disabilities of group I;

• war veterans (combatants, persons with disabilities as a result of war, war participants);
• persons who received the status of injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity.
• conscripts and those who were called up for military service in connection with mobilization; persons released from military service who became disabled during military service;
• parents of a serviceman who died (died) or went missing during military service; family members of a deceased (deceased) war veteran;
• rehabilitated persons who became disabled as a result of repression or are pensioners;
• persons who suffered as a result of the Chernobyl disaster of the I and II categories;
• orphans;
• children deprived of parental care;
• children of preschool age;
• employees of museums and museum-type institutions;
• applicants of higher education in the relevant professional field.
